No owner may rely on silence, omission, ambiguity, or platform functionality as a defense. If an issue is not expressly covered, it remains subject to the sole interpretation and approval of the Commissioner.

Article I

Name and Authority

Section 1. This league shall be known as Preppers!

Section 2. Preppers! is a ten-member fantasy football league operating under Point Per Reception (PPR) scoring and governed pursuant to this Constitution, the platform settings in effect for a given season, and any binding rulings issued by the Commissioner.

Section 3. This Constitution is the supreme governing document of the league. In the event of conflict between this Constitution, platform defaults, informal custom, owner preference, chat consensus, or any vote of the membership, the interpretation adopted by the Commissioner shall control.

Article II

Membership

Section 1. The league shall consist of the following members, listed in alphabetical order by last name:

Section 2. Membership in Preppers! is a revocable privilege and not an inherent right.

Section 3. Any owner may be removed, replaced, suspended, or otherwise disciplined by the Commissioner for inactivity, collusion, refusal to comply with league rules, conduct detrimental to the league, or any other cause deemed sufficient by the Commissioner.

Article III

Office of the Commissioner

Section 1. Alex Zacney shall serve as Commissioner of Preppers!

Section 2. The Commissioner is the final and exclusive governing authority of the league.

Section 3. The Commissioner shall possess plenary power over all league matters, including but not limited to:

  1. rule interpretation
  2. rule enforcement
  3. dispute resolution
  4. discipline and sanctions
  5. roster and lineup disputes
  6. trades and allegations of collusion
  7. scheduling irregularities
  8. playoff administration
  9. owner conduct
  10. all matters not expressly addressed in this Constitution

Section 4. The Commissioner may issue rulings, directives, interpretations, procedural requirements, and enforcement actions at any time as necessary to preserve league order, competitive integrity, and administrative efficiency.

Section 5. All decisions of the Commissioner are final.

Article IV

Office of the Squire

Section 1. Daniel Fisher shall serve as the Commissioner’s Squire.

Section 2. The Squire may be granted such administrative powers, commissioner tools, or delegated functions as the Commissioner elects to provide.

Section 3. The Squire serves solely by appointment of the Commissioner and solely at the Commissioner’s discretion.

Section 4. The office, title, authority, and privileges of the Squire may be modified, limited, suspended, or revoked by the Commissioner at any time, with or without cause, explanation, or notice.

Section 5. The Squire possesses no independent authority apart from that expressly or implicitly delegated by the Commissioner.

Article V

Rules and League Governance

Section 1. The league shall operate as a 10-team PPR fantasy football league.

Section 2. The active rules of the league shall consist of:

  1. this Constitution
  2. the league platform settings in force for the applicable season
  3. any additional rulings or directives issued by the Commissioner

Section 3. The Judge Rule. No owner may rely on silence, omission, ambiguity, or platform functionality as a defense for conduct not expressly addressed by this Constitution or the platforms used by the league. The fact that an action is not specifically prohibited shall not create a presumption that it is allowed. All such actions remain subject to the sole interpretation and approval of the Commissioner.

Section 4. Any ambiguity in league rules shall be resolved by the Commissioner.

Section 5. The absence of an express rule shall not be construed as a limitation on the Commissioner’s authority to act.

Article VI

Offseason Voting

Section 1. The Commissioner may permit offseason voting on proposed rule changes.

Section 2. Such voting is recognized as a limited advisory and procedural mechanism and shall not diminish the superior authority of the Commissioner.

Section 3. Any league member may propose a rule change during the offseason, subject to the Commissioner’s approval as to timing, wording, scope, and eligibility for vote.

Section 4. Unless otherwise specified by the Commissioner, a simple majority of votes cast shall constitute approval of a proposed rule change.

Section 5. No offseason vote shall take effect unless recognized, ratified, and implemented by the Commissioner.

Section 6. The Commissioner reserves the right to reject, delay, modify, interpret, or decline to implement any proposal where necessary to preserve league stability, competitive balance, or coherent administration.

Article VII

Competitive Integrity

Section 1. Each owner is obligated to act in good faith and maintain a competitively legitimate roster and lineup throughout the season.

Section 2. Collusion, tanking, roster manipulation for improper purposes, bad-faith transfers, and intentional non-competition are prohibited.

Section 3. Failure to set lineups, repeated inactivity, or abandonment of a team may constitute conduct detrimental to the league.

Section 4. The Commissioner shall have sole authority to determine whether conduct violates competitive integrity standards.

Article VIII

Trades

Section 1. Trades are permitted unless restricted by platform settings or Commissioner ruling.

Section 2. Trades shall not be overturned merely because they are unpopular, uneven, or criticized by other owners.

Section 3. The Commissioner may review and reverse any trade determined to involve collusion, fraud, bad faith, or material harm to league integrity.

Section 4. The Commissioner’s determination with respect to any trade shall be final.

Article IX

Draft and Seasonal Administration

Section 1. The Commissioner shall determine, or approve the determination of, the draft date, time, order procedure, and any other draft-related matters.

Section 2. Owners are responsible for their own draft readiness and participation.

Section 3. Seasonal administration, including waiver settings, playoff structure, deadlines, and tie procedures, shall be governed by league settings as approved by the Commissioner.

Section 4. The Commissioner may correct administrative errors, platform anomalies, or other irregularities in a manner deemed fair and necessary.

Article X

Enforcement and Penalties

Section 1. The Commissioner may impose disciplinary or corrective measures for any violation of this Constitution, league rules, or directives issued under Commissioner authority.

Section 2. Such measures may include, without limitation:

  1. warnings
  2. reversal of transactions
  3. loss of privileges
  4. draft-related penalties
  5. temporary suspension of certain league functions
  6. removal from the office of Squire
  7. removal from league membership
  8. any other remedy the Commissioner deems appropriate

Section 3. No separate appeal process shall exist unless voluntarily created by the Commissioner for a particular matter.

Article XI

Conduct

Section 1. Competitive trash talk is permitted.

Section 2. Conduct that materially disrupts league operations, undermines order, or interferes with enforcement may be sanctioned.

Section 3. The Commissioner shall determine the boundary between permissible league behavior and sanctionable conduct.

Article XII

Amendments

Section 1. This Constitution may be amended during the offseason.

Section 2. Amendments may be proposed by any owner or by the Commissioner.

Section 3. Proposed amendments may be submitted to league vote at the Commissioner’s discretion.

Section 4. No amendment shall become effective without the Commissioner’s formal approval and implementation.

Section 5. The Commissioner may also issue binding interpretive directives without formal amendment where necessary to clarify, administer, or enforce this Constitution.

Article XIII

Final Authority

Section 1. All league authority originates in and is exercised through the Office of the Commissioner.

Section 2. Any delegated authority exercised by the Squire or any other owner exists only through Commissioner permission and may be withdrawn at any time.

Section 3. For all matters arising under this Constitution or league operations generally, the Commissioner’s word is final.

This Constitution is adopted as the governing instrument of Preppers!, a ten-member PPR fantasy football league under the sole final authority of Commissioner Alex Zacney, with Daniel Fisher serving as Squire at the Commissioner’s discretion.
